5 Tips for Manifestation-A One Love Nugget

The Universe wants to meet our greatest dreams and callings. It needs our companionship in manifestation. Here are 5 simple tips to magnetize your heart's vision.
  • ALIGN: Offer yourself up to the power that animates life.
  • BE CLEAR: Clarity gives a clear channel in which energy can flow. Let your heart want what it wants. Be specific. Feel it as already so.
  • BE HUMBLE: We are wired to make manifest the glory of God within us. True humility includes going BIG, yet knowing The Big U(niverse) is driving (not the little you). Bow to this mystery and let it drive.
  • TAKE ACTION: We each know the "right" efforts, empowered actions, practices and steps that are prerequisites toward bringing a dream into fruition. Join the dance.
  • BE UNATTACHED TO OUTCOME: No matter what we can dream up for ourselves, the Universe may have something in store that will more fully serve our soul evolution. Surrender and trust is at the heart of it all.
Aligned with the Universal force, clear in your calling, humble before it's glory, proactively unattached to outcome, you will be guided right into the sweet spot of your soul manifestation. Promise.

If you need a little loving guidance, you know where to find me.

Living The Love of Your Life

Greetings Lovers of Life!
One Love Nugget of Wisdom. Apply liberally to your life of love.

Dear G,
I am working on a goal-setting process for the new year. I'm pretty good at actualizing concrete goals in which the steps for action are clear, doable, and in my control. I have a harder time figuring out action plans for goals that seem invisible. Like my goal to meet my mate and have a baby together. I can do all the wishing and believing I want, but what are some actual actions I can take to make this "out there" thing come into being? Do you have any suggestions for daily and monthly actions that can help me achieve this one?

With love,

Making it real

Dear Making It Real,

I love your goal and I bow to your willingness to bring the vision of your heart into fruition. My sense is that this vision stems from the root of deep knowing and divine inspiration, rather than from the epic egoic "I, Me and Mine"-want-want-want mumbo jumbo. Your trinity is Me-Mate-Baby, and magnetizing/receiving this reality as well as sustaining conscious, life giving relationship within it will require surrender and a whole lotta selflessness. In light of this, here are a few action items to add to your quiver of alchemical manifestation.
  • Become a devoted disciple of love. Follow the Dreaming wherever love leads you. Love your life, love your peeps, love your opportunity to live fully, love the heart and core of the mystery that appears as you. This will MAGNETIZE real love into your life.
  • Become a devotee of Love for its own sake (not as a 'deal' get the loot). Be willing to let go of the whole picture of "me, mate, babe" for the fulfillment of divine love, trusting that if the form of that trinity IS in your highest good, it will in fact come to pass.
  • Create a daily, weekly or bi monthly ritual (for full moon & new moon), where you consciously reach out and connect with your mate and baby energetically. Talk to them. Call them to you. Better yet, sing them to you. Use your creativity, spontaneity and playfulness to make this real for yourself. Invite the elements, mother nature and any god/goddess/guide divine ally to join you.
  • Tell all your trusted, most aligned friends about your heart's desire and receive their support in networking, and supporting you.
  • Clear all conflicts and ambivalence you may have that would otherwise sabotage your manifestation/receiving. Sometimes even a tiny glitch of unattended fear/conflict will be like a thorn in your side. As Peter Gabriel says, "I have my fears, so they don't have me." This means loving examination of all the beliefs, conflicts, agreement fields and fears in the space surrounding committed relationships, mate-hood and even parenthood. I suggest right brained activities to support you; such as mandalas, non-dominant hand journaling dialogues, role playing with internal voices and loving conversations with trusted friends. The key here is curiosity and presence rather than diagnostic productivity. Rather than a linear practice, simply jump in - dive in (to yourself) and explore any time you experience a conflict trigger.
  • Write a wanted add or personal profile with the bare truth and let it seed out into the world in print and through the mega possibilities on the web. Along the lines of: "I am the love of your life. Amazing, loving, creative....etc, person, ready to connect with my soul mate, live deeply in love and meet you for conscious, equal partnership, creating an incredible life together, including a baby! You are my match. You resonate deeply with my heart and are called to meet your soul mate (me) and start a family as well. You are fearless and willing in all things love - vulnerable, undefended, deep. No nonsense. Playful, but no games. I know you are out there. Earnest possibilities need only inquire."
Remember, what you seek is seeking you! Develop trust in your heart's knowing and give yourself fearlessly to love and life, just as you want your mate to show up for you, and his life. Then, if by chance it is not in the stars...you will have already given yourself with full devotion to the divine trinity of You, the Earth and the Universe. And that is as holy a trinity as it gets, everything else just springs from that bounty.
Energizing your vision.
One Love,
G

From Doubt To Devotion

Today's One Love Nugget goes out to a sister who wrote in about taking action on her Big Visions. She writes "I must acknowledge the part of myself that fears and doubts. As the part of me that dwells in possibility grows larger everyday, there is still a valid part that is scared and unsure. Gabriela, do you have any suggestions for assuring this part that everything is ok?"

This question is universal. I don't know anyone on the planet who doesn't have moments of fear and doubt. On this miraculous life journey, it is natural, human and humbling to have moments of fear and doubt. Sometimes there is wisdom and valuable insight to discover in our fears or doubts that can support us in redirecting, or reevaluating details of our visions. Journal, writing out a dialogue with these parts or speak out loud in the loving witness of a creative companion or intimate friend. Go ahead and HAVE your fears, so that they don't "have" you. Often when we speak these voices, their gifts are revealed and the energetic charge, that otherwise halts our progress, loses steam and dissolves. In a nutshell, yes, all parts ARE valid, so let every one of them drink of the love, even the scared, self doubting ones. This will enrich your journey with the WHOLE of you being honored and included.

On a more meta level, sometimes my fears and doubts are a sign to me that I need to plug back into my Source. Reconnecting to the Genius that moves through us and staying surrendered there often puts everything into perspective and restores peace. Elizabeth Gilbert, author of Eat, Pray, Love gives an excellent talk about nurturing the genius of creativity.

My perpetually reSOURCEful friend, River, recently shared with me that , Louise Hay, Affirmation-Healing expert, found that "I approve of myself" was one of the most powerful mantras she had seen in action. I have been integrating it and find it stops self doubt in its tracks. My energy immediately, shifts from monkey mind to meta mind.

Speaking of monkeys...become like Hanuman, he is the embodiment of divine love, "compassion in action, devotion in motion." Hanuman directed all his energy towards merging with Ram (also known here as the God of your heart). Becoming like Hanuman means embodying the unlimited power that lies within us as we merge with our Source. We can be held and allied here as doubt redirects into devotion to our divine expression as an act of service.

Join me, "put your feet into the river, give your life to something bigger" and let me know if this helps assure the whole of you that everything is beyond OK, and right in the sweet spot. Follow your heart, trust your genius and Godspeed ahead...

Wake Up To Life-The Love Generation

"Buddhahood is your birthright. You claim it every time you wake up to the present moment."
Karen Maezen Miller

My daughter, Talia, is a Buddha. She is a master of living in the now. She savors life. She delights in simplicity. She is devoted to playing, dancing, giggling and exploring her world. She loves all that sparkles. She loves being silly, making up rhymes and singing songs. Though at the core of all of her high energy and life discovery, she is a lover, an awakener. It is not lost on us that she is offering constant opportunities to be present, to let go of rigid adult agendas that at times blind us to real connection, and to the miracle of life happening before our eyes, every moment.

Last week, she said "Mama, let's go play our violins." (She has a ukulele and I have a guitar, but for short sometimes she just calls them "violins.")

"Mama, let's sing about love 'n generation," she said.
"OK," I said, "You start and then give me the signal to come in and we'll duet."

She sang, "We are love 'n generation. We love to sing, dance and play. We love ourselves and we love each other. We are healthy and free. We are the love generation."

Then she gave me the thumbs up (my cue to sing). We continued to sing, strum and laugh in timelessness. Dropping into the sweet spot of creativity and communion with my 3 year old is ecstasy. And on this day her lyrical improvisation was especially touching.

Naturally, I have a bias. I think my kid is channeling the genius of her generation...The LOVE GENERATION... and why not? We have had the Baby Boomers, Generation X, Generation Y, and now, the "Love Generation." Their time has come. They are reminding us of what is most important...offering ourselves as love in a life giving way. One definition of generation that I love is Genesis: a coming into being. I extend the invitation to you. Come into being LOVE. BE the generation of LOVE. That is the message I'll take from my child oracle. I give thanks for her effortless modeling of what it is to be truly alive.

"The miracle is not walking on water. The miracle is to walk on the green earth, dwelling deeply in the present moment and feeling truly alive."
Thich Nhat Hanh
