Friends,Welcome to the Age of the Avatar.

Wait. What does that mean? It sure doesn't mean invalidate all the sage wisdom that has (and continues to) flow through true teachers of the Way. It does mean that the ability to access
The Way, "our" way, is inherently seeded within each of us and directly revealed through refining and trusting our own inner guidance system.

For ages, Gurus, Messiahs and Mystics have lit a path through darkness. Their transmission and teachings served as bridges for students and devotees into God realization, enlightenment, awakening.

In addition to external teachers, teachings and abstractions of God lighting the Way, there is more. We are the bridges. As we embody our own spine and embrace the Mystery that breathes us, we can deepen our intimate relationship with the powers of life as they tutor us, ceaselessly and in infinite forms.

Avatars, (by my definition), are humans who recognize that we are all an embodiment of the divine. Awake to this reality, Avatars, (to the best of their ability). live in conscious harmony with the elements of nature, as apprentices, towards mastery, in direct communion and stewardship with the force of life.

Thankfully, my journey has stripped me of blind devotion, idealized images and abstractions of the divine. It has brought me to the feet and hearts of many amazing human teachers, some pure, some predatory (I am grateful for all I've learned in the process). I have been on a mystical ride of intimacy with divine love, in and beyond all forms. It has brought me to my knees, and returned me home; humble, broken open, free.

What's been revealed? It's the age of the Avatar. The GPS for the Soul is internal. Our true, essential being has always been divine matter. How could it be otherwise?

Don't take my word for it. Let your journey reveal what's Real in you.
Activate. Rock this life!

Fall Down, Get Up

One of my favorite proverbs: "Fall down seven times, get up eight."

This speaks to me of resiliency; of cultivating an ability to keep going.

So, you fall flat on your face, or on your ass. Whoa!

That hurt. It sucked! Get up, keep going!

Falling or even failing says nothing about your essential nature. It can't tarnish your untouchable divine spark. As humans, we all face challenges and have devastating experiences.

Will you fall and stay down?

Will you dwell in trauma or reap wisdom? Will you transmute poison into nectar? Use all that arises to root and rise?

My vote? Get up. Definitely get up!

Keep walking. I am right there beside you.

Be Your Own Buddha

Apparently, in the Buddha's final moments, his disciples asked:
Who will guide us once you are gone?"
Buddha replied:

“ APPA DIPO BHAVA — Be a light unto yourself.”

During a recent dark night passage in my life, I was asked, "Do you see the light at the end of the tunnel?"
I paused and these words came out of my mouth:
"Actually, I see that the light guiding me through the tunnel has been within me...all along."

It is in all of us.
Everyone.

I gratefully present to you the Bhakti Masala Earth Anthem ! This inspiring short video and joyful song are the first release from our album, Home, debuting in just a few weeks! I composed the featured song, Golden Rain, while watching my daughter and hubs play in the rain as sunbeams, rainbows, birds, breeze and a vast green canopy of vibrant life emerged like a symphony of color and sound. The Earth is so BEAUTIFUL, and life such a precious gift to savor. Heaven on Earth...Available in this moment, Now! Carpe Diem!

Sowing Seeds of LOVE

"Give what you want the most".

This pearl of wisdom, offered by my sister, Vanessa Stone, sang out in my awareness this week as I considered a creative way to share the remaining 400 Inner Wealth Decks sitting dormant in my garage.

What I wanted the most in creating this expressive arts toolkit was to inspire creative freedom and expression from the depths of the soul...to normalize that flourishing our creative genius is a birthright, a life giving, healing process, not a privilege for a chosen few.

I decided to give away all the decks to educators serving women and youth. I put the word out on Face Book...and voila, 24 hours later, they were all claimed!

Now, they are on their way, from coast to coast to yoga teachers, therapists, alternative school educators, retreat leaders and facilitators of programs for teens, moms, daughters and incarcerated women. All those seeds of love, sown! I trust these seeds will spark creativity and bear fruit everywhere they go!

Now every Inner Wealth Deck ever printed will find its way into someones hands and help direct them to their uniquely beautiful heart's expression.

May all beings feel the freedom to create...to explore and express their depths...to flourish...in love.

All Praises to the One!

This wild and wondrous life never ceases to amaze me! This morning I realized that I have not shared a blog post in over 9 months. Life has been full on...juicy, robust, full color, deeply engaging and radically fulfilling.

My creative energy has been devoted to delighting in my beautiful family, completing our debut album, Bhakti Masala, Home (being produced by the awesome, Ben Leinbach), and deepening in apprenticeship/teacher training with the potent, Vanessa Stone.

Nothing but gratitude here...and maha praises to the ONE orchestrating it all!
May you know yourself to be...Sourced in the Source.
Home...in an Ocean of Grace.
